We said this was going to be interesting. Boy, did we nail that one. We have in our possession, for the moment, our final site plan. Fool me once... We created this site to share the learning experience of being first-time innbuilders. Well, we've been learning!

This is also going to take a LOT of work. While Fritz has been involved with green energy technology for many years, there are many aspects of green building and green living about which we are complete newbies. We're going to have to change that fast.

This is going to be interesting. We've never worked in the hospitality industry. We've never run a B&B We've never built anything on a scale larger than a one-family house. So why are we building a "green" Inn?

An ideal spot for a bit of green building. Located within easy reach of Chicago, Milwaukee and Madison, Walworth County and the Geneva Lakes have been a popular destination for tourist and vacationers in the Midwest for more than a century. It's our plan to turn it into a mecca for green tourism, as well.

Welcome to our home. Soon to be your home away from home. The site of the Green Leaf Inn is on Route 50 in Delavan, right next to Williams Bay and Geneva Lake. We are just ten minutes from Fontana and less than 15 minutes from Lake Geneva, traffic allowing. We say that last bit with a bit of a grin.
